[ Floral Organs of Degenerias Pictured by Scanning Electron Microscopy ]

The second of three image galleries contains scanning electron micrographs of some of the floral organs of Degeneria (Degeneriaceae, Magnoliales, Magnoliidae). Field work on Degeneriaceae of the Fiji Islands was sponsored by a grant to Dr. Miller from the National Geographic Society. I thank Al Soeldner of the Oregon State University Electron Microscope Facility for preparing and photographing the specimens.
